Chris Brown

Chris is a business lawyer focused on the representation of growth companies and their investors, with a particular concentration on the issues facing technology companies.

Prior to going into private practice, Chris served as General Counsel and Secretary of NetSpend Holdings where he counseled NetSpend on its 2010 IPO and other transactions.

Earlier in his career he was a partner in the Austin office of Baker Botts L.L.P. where he headed the corporate practice.

A 36 year veteran of Proctor and Gamble, Dr. Gil Cloyd was named Industry Week’s Tech Leader of the year in 2004.

He served on the Board of Trustees for The Ohio State University in 2005, as the Chairman from 2007-2009 and is currently a Charter Trustee of the Board.

Dr. Cloyd serves on the Advisory Board of the Institute for Innovation, Creativity and Capital at the University of Texas, Austin, and is on the Board of Directors for Lumos Pharma.

As an advisor to Querium, Jack Dilworth brings expert knowledge gained during his forty-five year career in testing and education.

Jack retired as Chairman, The Psychological Corporation/Harcourt Educational Assessment in 2005. Prior to that, he provided leadership as a Group President for Harcourt Inc. and President and CEO of The Psychological Corporation.

Jack’s background and experience includes numerous administrative, operational, financial, project management, and information technology roles during his twenty year employment with Harcourt preceded by a twenty-five year period with Educational Testing Service.

Across Dave’s 20+ year career he has led workforce development and skills publishing at both Cengage and Pearson.

Dave has a passion for partnering with innovative organizations and being a part of evolving education models that accelerate skills acquisition and development for today’s learners.

Rich Haner

Founder and Former CEO of Design Edge

Rich Haner

Rich was part of the early group of Texas Instruments engineers and product designers that founded Compaq Computers in Houston. Following Compaq, Rich co-founded and was CEO of Design Edge, a product design company which did contract product development projects for a number of large customers including Dell, Motorola, and Toshiba.

Former Chairman of Austin software company ZeroWaitState.

Rich was a lecturer in the MBA program at UT Austin.
